Brief Biography: Mukondeleli C. Mulaudzi aka Shamriel Ben Israel

Mukondeleli C. Mulaudzi is a UJ Alumni, who completed his BA Honours in Applied Linguistics in 2016. For his undergraduate level he attained a BA Language Practice (2013-2015), Cum Laude. Mukondeleli has also attained the following honours throughout his academic career: University of Johannesburg Top Achiever’s Award (2013); membership in Golden Key International Honour Society (2014 – present); University of Johannesburg Department of Linguistics Academic Excellence Award (2014); Top Achiever’s Award (73%) for BA Honours in Applied Linguistics (2016). Mukondeleli is currently part of a cohort of students at the University of Johannesburg who are developing a new Afrikan-centred module called Afrikan Thought. He is also the Founder and Chairperson of a Pan Afrikan/ Afrocentric student society called Ubuntu Awakening (UA) which was started in 2015 at the UJ APK campus. In 2015 he served as Lifestyle and Entertainment Editor for the UJ Observer, UJ’s official newspaper and currently does Freelance Language Practice work. Mukondeleli’s areas of interest include Poetry, Linguistics, Afrocentricity, Pan Afrikanism, Afrikan Approaches to Health, Diet and Nutrition; Afrikan Cosmology and Afrikan Spiritual Systems; ancient Afrikan History and the development of Servant Leadership Extraordinary in Afrika.
